Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister has held Pakistani terror outfits responsible for the coordinated terror attack on the temple town of Varanasi.
"The terrorist who has been killed in Lucknow was trained in Pakistan and we will uncover the conspiracy within a month," he said.
Political reactions on the dastardly attack have been pouring in after the serial blasts in the oldest city of the world.
There was furore in the UP Assembly where angry BJP MLAs demanded the dismissal of the Mulayam-led Samajwadi government alleging a security lapse.
The BJP and BSP have called for a state-wide bandh on Wednesday. BJP has announced that the party will not celebrate Holi (Hindu festival of colours) and will perform a puja at the Sankatmochan temple on March 14.
Leader of Oposition L K Advani and BJP President Rajnath Singh will also embark on a nationwide yatra to condemn the attack on the temple town.
The echoes of the blast also resounded in the political corridors of Delhi. There was a huge uproar in both Houses of Parliament where BJP called for the suspension of the Question Hour demanding detailed discussion on the blasts.
On Tuesday, Home Minister Shivraj Patil and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi also visited the scene of action.
"It's time for calm and peace and whoever is behind the attack, will not be spared," Sonia said.
