MQM leaders met RAW, sought assistance of over $1 million: report
The MQM has been blamed for various criminal activities in Pakistan and is accused of many killings and kidnappings in the city of Karachi.

India was said to be allegedly behind the Pakistani criminal outfit - the MQM, said a media report.

According to report in The Indian Express, recently surfaced documents suggested that a London based MQM activist told the British police that the outfit's top leadership held secret meetings with India's RAW agency in the mid-1990s.

The MQM member reportedly told the British Police that the party's leadership held meetings with RAW officials in Rome, Vienna, Zurich, Salzburg and Prague - and even sought $1.5 million in assistance.

The MQM has been blamed for various criminal activities in Pakistan and is accused of many killings and kidnappings in the city of Karachi.
