Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi's close aide and BJP national secretary Amit Shah will visit the state capital on June 12 for the first time after being nominated incharge of Uttar Pradesh.
"After national executive in Goa, a meeting of state office-bearers will be held in Lucknow June 12," party's chief spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak said.
He said UP in charge Shah would be present specially in the meeting to be chaired by state president Laxmi Kant Bajpai. Pathak said the meeting would be attended by all regional presidents, general secretaries, state presidents of front organisations and convenors.
