CHENNAI: In view of Deepavali festival, the Chennai traffic police has made modifications in the movement of traffic on October 8.A press release said Panagal flyover to North Usman Road towards Madly Junction would be one-way and entry would not be permitted from Madly Junction to Panagal flyover. Temporary parking facilities have been provided for two-wheelers and four-wheelers at Muthurangan Salai (50 cars), G N Chetty Road (200 cars), around Somasundaram playground (100 cars), Thyagaraya Road - western side (100 cars) and eastern side (500 two-wheelers), V N Road (50 cars) and Burkit Road (northern side - 100 cars).Parking (holidays) has been arranged at Corporation HSS, Prakasam Raod, (200 two-wheelers), Ramakrishna Main School (200 two-wheelers) and Ramakrishna School (south) Burkit Road (200 two-wheelers). Private paid parking is also available at J K Parking, Ramanathan Street (300 two-wheelers), S B Parking-Ramanathan Street (75 cars), Nachiyar parking-Mahalakshmi Street (200 two-wheelers and Vadivel Parking-Motilal Street (150 two-wheelers). Goods vehicles will not be allowed to enter T Nagar between 10 am and 10 pm.
