During his upcoming visit to the United States, Prime Minister Modi will visit the Facebook headquarters at Menlo Park in San Francisco in USS on September 27. He will be addressing a townhall meeting as well as a question and answer session.

Confirming the visit, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg called on people to post their questions for the Prime Minister. "I'm excited to announce that Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India will be visiting Facebook HQ later this month for a Townhall Q&A," Zuckerberg wrote in a post on Facebook.

The live video of the session will be available on Zuckerberg's Facebook page and also on PM Modi's official page on the social media website.

Zuckerberg met Modi in New Delhi in October 2014 and they discussed the use of social media in tackling terror, and expanding healthcare and education services. Recalling his meeting with Prime Minister Modi in India, the Facebook CEO wrote," it's an honor to have the chance to host him here at Facebook."

Modi took to twitter to thank Zuckerberg for the invitation. " I thank Mark Zuckerberg for the invite to visit @facebook HQ & for the Townhall Q&A at 10 PM IST on 27th September," he wrote on the micro blogging site.

India has the largest Facebook userbase outside the US. In June, the company had said 125 million users of its global base of 1.44 billion come from India.
