ANGUL: A minor girl was reportedly stabbed on Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) court premises here on Wednesday by a jilted youthwho had allegedly kidnapped her in May last year. The girl Rashmita Nayak (16) had come to the court with her parents to depose in the kidnappingcase when the youth Sachin Behera allegedly stabbed her four times. Herfather was also allegedly stabbed twice when he tried to save his daughter. Behera later stabbed himself in the stomach but was overpowered by plainclothes police. The three have been admitted to hospital and are stated to be out of danger. Behera was arrested again.Rashmita was allegedly kidnapped by Behera in May, 2010, and taken to Murshidabad in West Bengal where she was held hostage. Later, Nalcopolice had rescued her and arrested Behera. He managed to get bail after remaining six months in judicial custody.Behera told mediapersons that he was in love with the girl and wanted to marry her but the girl’s parents opposed it.
