Raipur: Following the killing of 14 CRPF jawans in Chhattisgrah, the Home Ministry on Thursday formed a committee on Standard Operating Procedure for Naxal related activities.
The seven-member committee will be headed by former DG CRPF K Vijay Kumar. The members will include officers from CRPF, IB, Home Ministry and State Police.
The committee has to streamline SOPs to make anti-naxal operations in Chhattisgarh more effective, with lesser loss of lives of CRPF personnel. The committee has to submit its report by December 15.
