MDMK to collect forms from Wednesday

ERODE: The MDMK will collect forms from aspiring candidates for local body polls from September 7 to 18 in the district and at its headquarters. The fee for Mayor post is Rs 10,000, member Rs 3,000, municipal chairman Rs 3,000, member Rs 2,000, TP president Rs 2,000, member Rs 500, district panchayat member Rs 3,000 and panchayat union member Rs 2,000.  The filled-in applications should reach the party head office before Sept ember 18.  The MDMK district committee will meet at the party office here on September 9 for this.
