Mumbai: A man allegedly beat and killed his one-year-old son using an iron pipe after the toddler refused to take medicine.
The incident took place in Bhiwandi near Thane. When the toddler refused to take medicine as he was busy playing with his elder brother, the enraged father started hitting him with an iron rod.
His mother trier to stop her husband and pleaed with him to show some mercy on their son. But the accused did not listen to her and kept on hitting the boy.
After finding that the boy had died, the accused fled.
Police have registered a case after the mother filed a complaint and are trying to arrest the father.
