One could say that, 'Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna' is one of the highly expected film in Kannada cinema of the year, 2102. Which is made on the budget of Rs 25 crores. The film could n't release on the birthday of guerilla warrior Rayanna on August, 15 as it was planned. While the audio release too was postponed.
Though Special effects are being carried on for 'Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna' in Rajan Special Effects Studio at Bangalore. The film is one of the biggest venture, which has biggest star cast and has employed top-notch people. The film is likely to have two versions for A center and B and C centers. It will be of three hours in A center and three and half hours duration for B and C centers, as per the sources.
Sri Sangolli Rayanna, Belgavi, Anand B Appugol have invested a huge amount on this film. Dialogues and lyrics are penned by Keshavaditya, Yashovardhan is the music director, Director Naganna and Keshavaditya has written the screenplay. Editing is by Deepu S Kumar. Ramesh Babu is the cameraman. The assistant directors are Lakshmikanth and Devaraj Palan, art is by Mohan Pandit, Ravi Verma in stunts. Chinni Prakash and Shivashanker are the choreographers.
'KVSR' has a huge star cast. Darshan plays the warrior in the title role. Jayaprada is in the role of queen. Kittur Rani Chennamma, Shashikumar, Likitha, Srinivasamurthy, Shobaraj, Umasri, CR Simha, Ramesh Bhat, Shivakumar, Dharma, Satyajith, Sadashiva Brahmavar, Kari Basavaiah, Killer Venkatesh, Aravind, Biredar, Rajesh and others are in the cast.
