KV gets threat call from Maoist

PATNAGARH: BJP Legislature Party leader and Patnagarh MLA K V Singhdeo on Saturday claimed to have received a call from a Maoist demanding cash and rice from him.Stating that he had received calls on his mobile phone on July 30, Singhdeo said, one Pratap Reddy made the call and identified himself as a Maoist leader. “He asked me to pay cash and supply rice for Maoists.” He received two calls within three minutes  and disconnected after the first call saying he was not interested in speaking with the caller. Reddy, also threatened him with dire consequences if he did not pay heed to the demand.Singhdeo said he had informed the Patnagarh police.
