Income Tax department officials recovered cash worth crores at Kumaraswamy’s aide Manjunath's house in Bangalore.
New Delhi: Income Tax department officials recovered cash worth crores and several confidential documents at the residence of Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy’s close aide S Manjunath in Bangalore on Tuesday.
Manjunath is close to the family of Karnataka CM and has been seen attending several functions with the family.
The officials reportedly recovered some documents from his house that point fingers at the CM's wife Anitha.
The search at Manjunath’s house was part of an IT raid that officials conducted at more than 20 offices of land developers and realtors in and around Bangalore.
Meanwhile, local residents around the area near Manjunath's house blocked the way protesting media entry in the locality.
