Kudumbasree to train people to produce soaps

ALUVA: Kudumbasree in Kottapuram Sixth Ward, Alangad Grama Panchayat, initiated training its members to produce soap powder. The scheme envisages production of soap and its distribution to the houses within the panchayat limits.The scheme will promote self-reliance and distribution of better quality products to the consumers, said P S Jagadeesan, while inaugurating the training programme.Kudumbasree ADS president Safia Kunjumohemed presided the function.CDS president Rama Prasannakumar, Geetha Thankappan, ADS secretary Sasikala and vice-president Rehiyanath Shamsu spoke on the occasion. Gopinath Ezhupunna imparted the training to the participants.
