New Delhi: Kobian has unveiled its new tablet, dubbed the Mercury mTab7G. The tablet has a thickness of 10.8 mm, weighs in at 300 g and supports both 2G and 3G connectivity.
Much like the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, the mTAB7G allows voice calling through the SIM cards. The tablet comes with a handsfree headset with an inbuilt mic, thus allowing users to use the tablet as their primary mobile phone.
Under the hood, the mTab7G is powered by a 1.2GHz processor based on Cortex A8. It runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. For connectivity, other than the SIM card slot, the tablet has Wi-Fi capabilities. It has 4GB of internal memory, which is expandable up to 32GB using the microSD card slot.
Both the front and back side of the tablet have cameras, and the rear camera has HD recording. The tablet also comes with Adobe Flash 11.1 installed, which allows users to view flash-based content on websites.
