HYDERABAD: A class ten student staged a kidnap drama to bunk school at Shamshabad on Tuesday but was caught within hours of staging the drama.The 15-year-old is a resident of Airport colony in Shamshabad and a student of Netaji private school which is in the vicinity of his house.On Tuesday around 8 a.m., he left home as usual for school along with two of his friends of the same locality. Mid-way, he asked his friends to proceed and that he would join them at school.The boy later took a free ride from a person and went towards Shamshabad bus station. "He called up his mother from Madhura Nagar, identified himself as a kidnapper and said that he had abducted her son," police said.The boy's mother, Manjula, lodged a complaint with RGIA police who launched a search based on the phone number from which she received the call.A police team spotted the boy near a bus stand at Madhura Nagar and brought him to the police station after which the boy spilled the beans.Minor girl kidnappedRGIA police registered a case on Tuesday against a 27-year-old for kidnapping a minor girl.The 14-year-old girl, a native of Jharkhand, is a resident of Rajendra Nagar and a student of class eight in a local school.Jagadish Patel from Jharkhand who is staying in the same locality befriended the girl and reportedly took her away to Bangalore, where his brother lives, police said. By the time the teams reached Bangalore they left the place.As the girl is a minor, police lodged a kidnap case and special teams have been formed to trace the accused.
