BANGALORE: Deputy chairman of the Bihar State Planning Board Hari Kishore Singh called on his Karnataka counterpart Ramachandra Gowda at the Vikasa Soudha on Friday.“We exchanged plans for the wholesome development of both states,” Gowda said. While Gowda explained the Vision 2020 document prepared by the Karnataka Planning Board for step-bystep development of the state in all fronts, Singh, on his part, briefed the former on the concept of ‘total revolution’ adopted by JD(U)-BJP government in Bihar.“We belong to the land of JP whose call for total revolution ended the Congress party’s hegemony in Indian politics. It is in the fitness of things to adopt his clarion call as our developmental principle,” Gowda said, quoting Singh.According to Singh, the JD(U)-BJP government in Bihar had inherited a very bad legacy as the 15-year rule of Laloo Prasad Yadav had left the state in a bad shape.“It was a daunting task for Nitishiji and his team to bring the administration back on track and then make it people-friendly as well as dynamic state. The grit and determination with which his team worked is laudable,” Gowda said, quoting his Bihar counterpart.
