KOCHI: A section of LLB students of the MG University have protested against the question paper issued for the LLB examination on Monday. The question papers issued for sixth semester LLB (five year) and second semester LLB (three year) degree examinations have one question repeating twice. “The question ‘Inheritance is never in abeyance, Explain?’ was repeated in the question paper on ‘Family Law’ first in Part A carrying 4 marks and later in Part C carrying 30 marks,” said a student.The students also pointed out that one of the questions pertaining to property rights in Part B have not mentioned the religion to which the characters in the question belonged. “Different religions have different property rights. How could we answer those questions without knowing which religion they are referring to,” they asked. S Saroja, Principal, Government Law College, said that she did not receive any complaints so far. “I did not get any complaints from any students on this matter,” she said.
