JD(S) plans to hold roadshows

BANGALORE: With its efforts to dislodge the Yeddyurappa-led state government biting the dust, the JD(S) has now decided to focus on strengthening the party at the grassroots.Party leaders will embark on state tours in June to highlight the failures of the state government.A preliminary meeting of senior leaders, including H D Deve Gowda and H D Kumaraswamy, was held here on Tuesday, which deliberated on such issues.Addressing mediapersons, Basavaraj Horatti and Basavanagouda Patil Yatnal said the party has convened a meeting of JD(S) of workers of HK and Mumbai-Karnatka regions on May 26 to chalk out party's future course of action.
