Jayarajan mum on call to beat up ACP

KANNUR: CPM leader M V Jayarajan refused to react to the  police action of filing a case against him under Sections 116 and 117 of the IPC for his speech calling upon SFI workers to beat up Kozhikode North Assistant Commissioner of Police Radhakrishna Pillai whenever he is spotted without uniform.Jayarajan, when contacted by Expess, said that he would not like to react to such issues.The town police here had filed a case against Jayarajan under relevant sections of the Police Act on Wednesday itself.Jayarajan made the controversial appeal to the SFI workers while speaking at a protest programme organised by the students organisation on Wednesday.
