CHENNAI: AIADMK general secretary and Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Wednesday announced the party’s nominees for all wards in eight corporations — Vellore, Salem, Erode, Tirupur and Thoothukudi (60 wards each), Tirunelveli (55) and Coimbatore and Madurai (100 each).She also changed nominees for 11 municipalities – Chengalpet, Ranipet, Pollachi, Nelliazham, Gudalur, Pattukottai and Thiruthuraipoondi, Theni-Allinagaram, Bodinaickanur, Sathur and Padmanabhapuram — and five town panchayats — Chitlapakkam, Thakkolam, Panapakkam, Nemili, Thiruvalam, Parankipettai, Bhuvanagiri, Annamalai Nagar, Pennadam, Srimushnam, Gangaikondan, Vadakkanendal, Thirukkovilur, P Mallapuram, Karimangalam and Koradacherry.The seat-sharing committees formed by the CPI and CPM held separate talks with the AIADMK.
