Few days after the security establishment in Jammu and Kashmir killed Lashkar-e-Toiba's top leader Abu Qasim in Kulgam, intelligence agencies have uncovered evidence of a Lashkar-e-Toiba revenge plot targeting India.
According to sources, the LeT's top command has instructed its new J&K chief Abu Dujana to plot the attack. It is also learnt that the calls intercepted by agencies indicate that Dujana was instructed to carry out the attack.
Sources also added that strict directives have come from LeT that recruitments have to continue. Huge cache of heavy arms and ammunition is also being sent into the valley. Intercept also indicated heightened interaction between the operatives on both sides of the LoC.
The mastermind behind Udhampur BSF convoy attack Abu Qasim, was killed by security forces in an ambush in Khandipura village of Kulgam district.
