Information on illegal OFCs sought

BANGALORE: Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP)  Commissioner M K Shankaralinge Gowda on Thursday requested the public to inform BBMP officials about illegal optical fibre cables (OFCs), if found in their locality.In a press release, he requested the public to inform about illegal OFCs to their nearby zonal offices. He also instructed zonal level officials to remove the illegall OFCs. Officials have to inspect their zone everyday and cut down those illegal cables laid on trees and storm water drains, he said.
