UAE will appoint a joint Task Force with India to increase business from the country.
New Delhi: India and UAE on Monday discussed a host of bilateral, regional and international issues with the visiting UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan extending full support to New Delhi's bid for a permanent membership of the UN Security Council.
Nahyan, who is on an official visit to India, called on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh before holding talks with his Indian counterpart SM Krishna during which he also expressed his country's desire to invest more in infrastructure and energy sectors.
In this context, UAE will appoint a joint Task Force with India to increase business from the country. Both Krishna and Al-Nahyan also inked a MoU between the two countries on political consultations.
