Along with Perugannam, water dispensers have also been set up at many important junctions in the district.

Several states in the country are grappling with the severe heatwave. It is hard for people to deal with the situation. The temperature exceeds 45 degrees Celsius in some places, causing several heatstroke deaths. The national capital has reportedly surpassed the 50-degree Celsius mark. People are avoiding going out even in an emergency. But if you are going out, it is necessary to take precautions.

In the same vein, to provide relief from the sun for the common man, a voluntary organisation is giving curd rice daily, in the afternoon. The risk of dehydration is high when it is hot and sunny outside. It is good to eat curd rice every afternoon in the dry season. It also helps with digestion and boosts energy levels.

Curd and rice are donated under the auspices of Akhil Bharatiya Ayyappa Dharma Prachara Sabha on the premises of Hanuman Chowrastha Government Hospital in Mancherial district, Telangana. Every day, curd rice is prepared, brought to about five hundred people and distributed free of charge.

At the beginning of the summer season, under the auspices of Akhil Bharatiya Ayyappa Dharma Prachara Sabha, a curd donation campaign was started. Through this program, many commuters, poor people and those doing small jobs on the roadside will benefit a lot. Some donors also come forward to be a part of this charity. Common people are praising this initiative and saying that people who work during the scorching heat are getting relief.

State President of Akhil Bharatiya Ayyappa Dharma Prachara Sabha, Bethi Tirumala Rao and also Manchiryala District President, Dr Rajukiran, said that they are very happy that the curd donation has increased in popularity and is benefiting the poor. They said that, along with Perugannam, umbrellas have also been sent to the local roadside residents free of charge and water dispensers have also been set up at many important junctions in the district.
