New Delhi: Sajid Khan has won the first round as his latest film 'Himmatwala' has generated a high level of curiosity among the audiences, but will the film turn out to be worth waiting for?
'Himmatwala' is the remake of a homonymous film made by K Raghavendra Rao in 1983, however Sajid Khan is expected to give the old story some new twists to make it contemporary.
The film stars Ajay Devgn and Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead roles while Paresh Rawal and Adhyayan Suman will also be seen in pivotal roles.
Sajid Khan's record at the box office is enviable as all of his previous films have been commercially successful but will he be able to repeat the magic of 'Housefull 2' with 'Himmatwala'?
Ajay Devgn's last two films 'Bol Bachchan' and 'Son Of Sardaar' grossed more than Rs 100 crore at the ticket window, so he would be hoping for another good finish with 'Himmatwala'.
Sajid appears confident but only the audience will decide the fate of the film. Critical success may not be desired by the makers of 'Himmatwala' but it can always help in generating good revenue.
