BANGALORE: The High Court on Wednesday adjourned hearing on the petition filed by former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy seeking to quash the proceedings initiated against him and his wife in a lower court on a private complaint to October 20.Justice V Jagannathan, who heard the matter, made the announcement after the complainant Vinod Kumar sought more time to implead the family members of Kumaraswamy. Kumar has stated that family members of the former CM received favours when he was in office, in Mysore, Arsikere, Holenarasipur and other places. The complainant, an advocate himself, has also alleged in the complaint that Kumaraswamy had violated norms by renewing mining license of Jantakal Mining Company while as chief minister, in addition to making bulk land allotments to Viswabharathi Housing Cooperative Society, which had made a quid-pro quo site allotment to Kumaraswamy’s wife, Anita.
