BANGALORE: The state government remained tight-lipped on Arcelor Mittal’s decision to put all projects in India on the back burner. Refusing to comment in this regard, Large and Medium Industries Minister Murugesh Nirani said that nothing was communicated to the government officially.Speaking to media persons after the Second Regional Council Meeting of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) Southern region, Nirani, however, stated  the company’s concerns will be resolved once they communicate the same to the government. He added the government would be meeting representatives of POSCO. “We are meeting them as the company has evinced interest to set up a 6-million-tonne steel plant at Rs 32,000 crore,” he said.Denying any opposition to the setting up of the plant, he said people in the forest area were not opposed to government moves. Nirani said the government presented options for POSCO in neighbouring taluks and districts. On the concerns raised by IT companies about infrastructural delays in  Special Economic Zone (SEZ) on the outskirts of the city, he  said the government will resolve concerns by the end of the month.
