The latest Google 'spring clean' will impact at least five Google products.

New Delhi: Since September 2011 Google has shut down or combined more than 30 of its products and has now announced its latest clean up effort.

The latest Google 'spring clean' will impact at least five Google products that include iGoogle (the personalised Google page), its Symbian search app, Google video, Google Talk Chatback and Google Mini.

Google is pushing its new acquisition Meebo in place of the Google Talk Chatback that allowed websites to embed a Google Talk widget to engage with visitors.

Google is also finally shutting down Google Video on August 20, 2012. Google stopped video uploads to Google Video back in May 2009 and will now move Google Video content to YouTube.

iGoogle will be retired 16 months from now on November 1, 2013. "With modern apps that run on platforms like Chrome and Android, the need for iGoogle has eroded over time, so we’ll be winding it down," Google explained the reason behind the planned closure on its official blog.

The Symbian Search App will meet its end because Google says it wants to focus efforts on the mobile Web search experience.

Google's enterprise search offering Google Mini will be discontinued from July 31 but Google will continue to provide technical support to Mini customers for the duration of their contracts.
