THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The city schools have come up with a good performance in the CBSE class XII examinations, the results of which were announced the other day. The Kazhakkoottam Jyothis Central School has recorded cent- per cent pass with six students securing more than 90 per cent, 8 students having more than 80 per cent and 27 students securing more than 60 per cent, out of the the total 41 students who wrote the exam. Elizabeth George topped in the science stream with 93.6 per cent and Mercy David topped in commerce stream with 90 per cent. The Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Senior Secondary School, Kodunganoor, has recorded a good win in the exam. Of the total 251 students who appeared in the examination, 89 have secured distinction, 106 got first class and 34 bagged second class. Arya Manoj became the topper in Computer Science. The Abdulsalam Rafi Residential Public School, Nettayam, has secured 96.8 per cent win. A total of 106 students had wrote the examination here. In Sree Chitra Public School, 27 students had appeared for the exam. Eight of them secured distinction and 19 got first class. At St Thomas Central School, Mukkolakkal, 312 students had written the examination. Of them, 172 secured distinction and 99 got first class.Among the 33 students who wrote the examination at Sree Vivekananda Memorial Public School, seven got distinction and 25 got first class. Of the total 52 students who wrote examination at Viswabharathy Public School, 30 students secured distinction. In Kendriya Vidyalaya Pattom, of the total 326 students who wrote the examination, 317 passed, securing 97.2-per cent win. At Bishop Pereira Memorial School, out of the 27 students who wrote the examination, 16 secured distinction and 9 got first class.
