CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Text Book Corporation (TNTBC) on Tuesday said it would make Class XII textbooks available at all 22 circle offices across the state from May 10. As many as 64 lakh textbooks have been printed for free distribution and 16 lakh for sale, a press release said. It said the distribution would begin after publication of the results of Class XI exam. Matriculation Inspectors have been instructed to coordinate the sale of textbooks to private schools. Matriculation school principals have been directed to fix appointments with the respective officials to collect the textbooks from the depots.Special arrangements have been made for matriculation schools in Chennai to collect the books in view of their large numbers. Further, textbooks for 51 subjects will be available for sale at the depots of the various circle offices across the State.The books are available online free of cost at http:// textbookcorp.tn.nic.in
