New Delhi: Director Anurag Kashyap's crime drama 'Gangs of Wasseypur' is going to be showcased at the 'Spotlight' section at the Sundance Film Festival 2013. Anurag Kashyap tweeted about the film's selection at the prestigious film festival, "So after Directors Fortnight, Toronto, Busan all the fests across the world GOW goes to SUNDANCE."
The film was made in two parts which showcased a revenge story spanning over several decades. 'Gangs of Wasseypur' received mostly positive reviews in India and has been showcased at many film festivals across the world.
'Gangs of Wasseypur 1 and 2' featured Manoj Bajpayee, Nawazuddin Siddique, Huma Qureshi and Tigmanshu Dhulia in the lead roles.
The other films that are going to be showcased in the 'Spotlight' section along-with 'Gangs of Wasseypur' are 'Fill the Void', 'The Gatekeepers', 'Mud', 'N', 'Sightseers' and 'Stories We Tell'.
