Gandhimarga sangamam

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Deseeya Balatharangam along with the Gandhian organisation Sabarmathi, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on Oct 2 will conduct a programme, ‘Gandhimarga Sangamam’ at 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at  Gandhi Park here.At the function, K P Udayabhanu will be honoured by K J Yesudas for his contributions in the sector of patriotic songs. Gandhi memorial lectures will also be delivered by many eminent people. A musical programme to be held in connection with this, in the evening, will be inaugurated by Mayor K Chandrika. A magic show and poetry session will follow, said Sabarmathi coordinator V K Mohan.
