A court in Haryana's Bhiwani town on Tuesday sentenced four people to death and 10 others to life imprisonment for the murder of a widow and her two teenaged sons two years ago. The quartet were Santosh's relatives from her husband's family. The victims were found brutally murdered in July 2011 in their house in village Patwan of Bhiwani district, 260 km from here.
Police said they were murdered over share in 18 acres of land. Santosh's husband had died in a road accident in 2000. Her in-laws eyed her share in the land and the murder followed.
