HYDERABAD: Make way for diamonds this Navratri and let their glitter enhance the festive spirit. “Twilight”, an exclusive diamond jewellery collection created by renowned jewellery designer Bunty Bajaj was launched in her store, Krsala on Wednesday. The store will be celebrating its fifth anniversary during the Navratri and on the occasion, Krsala felicitated nine prominent Hyderabadi women achievers. They include Anju Poddar, Deepika Reddy, Jwala Gutta, Kiran Krishnamurthy, Lakshmi Manchu, Mithali Raj, Pinky Reddy, Sangeeta Readdy and Shilpa Reddy. Talking about this initiative to honour these women, Bunty Bajaj said, “Navratri is a very auspicious festival for me and I fast all the nine days. And on the eve of Navratri, I am very happy to be  honouring nine women, who have made a mark in their respective fields.” She further added, “Diamonds portray beauty and so do women. So, celebrating both of them is just amazing.”Agreeing with her was Sangeeta Reddy, managing director, Apollo Hospitals. She said, “It’s all about Stree Shakti and feeling that power from inside. I hope every woman feels it like I do. And the diamonds also have that similar trait.”Commenting on the design of the diamonds, former Mrs India Shilpa Reddy said, “Everything is put together with such finesse, that they bring in the festive spirit.”Sports personalities Jwala Gutta and Mithali Raj said they were really happy with the recognition. “I am so honoured with this recognition among these ladies. It feels great,” said Jwala and went on to describe her own fascination with diamonds. “I love diamonds, and I love dressing up in Indian attire. Clothes is one thing I am obsessed with. The designs are so exquisite that the festive season this year will definitely be very bright,” she said.Adding a little more on the design was Pinky Reddy,  who said, “I give complete credit to Bunty. I think she has done a great job. I really like the use of diamonds with white and yellow gold. They look beautiful.”More on the design, the Twilight collection is an ensemble of white and yellow gold embedded with white and yellow diamonds, giving it a twilight effect, It is also a mix of tradition and modern styles giving it a feel of palpable luxury and and reflects timeless elegance. The collection is an eclectic mix of exquisite diamond jewellery and jadau designs set in uncut diamonds and other gem stones.
