BANAGLORE: bangalore Management Association (BMA) has organised an annual convention on Transparency and Ethics In Management at Atria Hotel on September 22. Justice Shivaraj V Patil will inaugurate the convention and K Jairaj, additional chief secretary of the Karnataka Government, will deliver key note address. The convention will be presided by N D Veeranna Gowda, president, Bangalore Management Association.Dr R Venkata Rao, vice chancellor, National Law School of India and Dr J Philip, president, XIME, will address the delegate. M K Shrivastava, advisor, CRM Management Studies, will chair the session.In the second session, on ‘Management Tools to Combat corruption,’ Ramakant Desai, president, Happiest Minds and Shekhar Vishwanathan, deputy managing director, Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd, will address the delegates. ADGP, Civil and CVO, BEL, Dr M N Krishnamurthy IPS will be presiding the session.In the third session, on ‘Transparency Key to good Governance’, M N Vidyashankar, principal secretary of Karnataka Government’s IT and BT Dept and V Madhu, managing director, Provident Housing, Puravankara Group will address delegates. The function will be presided by Prof V Nagaraj, registrar, National Law School.In the fourth session on ‘Accountability and Challenges,’ Prof M V Rajeev Gowda, chairman, Center for Public Policy, IIMB and K Paramashivaiah, additional commissioner, Income Tax, will address the delegates. Anil Varghese, director, South Region Microsoft Ltd, will preside over the session.In the concluding session, Dr A Ravindra, advisor to the chief minister, will deliver the valedictory speech. The function will be presided by Dilip Mavinakurve, managing director, State Bank of Mysore.
