Financiers held for illegal acts

BANGALORE: Kadugondanahalli police have arrested four financiers, including three women, for allegedly running illegal finances and chit fund business and recovered Rs 4.5 lakhs worth materials from them.The accused have been identified as Najima (25) of Nagawara, Waheeda (29) of Nagawara, Naveeda alias Munni (28) of KG Halli and Jubair Ahmed (28) of Nagawara.The other three accused Naseer Khan, Shareef and Shakeera are absconding. The accused used to lend Rs 10,000 cash at an interest rate of Rs 4,000 per week. They used to harass people for repayment, the police said.
