In Andhra Pradesh’s Guntur, second-hand tractors are sold at quite a low cost to farmers who are into agriculture. Interestingly, the place also offers an opportunity to exchange the tractor here by selling off your old one at the showroom and getting a brand new one in return. It has made the selling and buying of tractors quite convenient for farmers.

An Eicher showroom has opened up on the road to Guntur in the Nandyal district of Andhra Pradesh. The owner of the showroom provides a great opportunity for young farmers and those interested in farming. As per Gollapu Chetan Kumar Reddy, second-hand tractors are sold at comparatively lower prices. He explained that if farmers have an old tractor, then they can sell at his showroom. He further added that farmers need to show all documents related to the old tractor including the RC book. In comparison to other tractors in the market, Eicher tractors are quite light and its engine pick-up is set at a very high speed to show its ability in agricultural work.

What makes a tractor a great choice for farmers involved in agricultural work is that these vehicles can be equipped with various tools that will help get work done quickly, like ploughing. Gollapu Chetan Kumar Reddy’s showroom has taken dealership responsibilities from Nandikotkur to Doranala. He mentioned that farmers in the nearby area majorly use these tractors for tasks like paddy plants and cultivation of the field.

Further, farmers can easily buy Eicher tractors or even second-hand tractors without much hassle. The owner also assured me that he would make sure to oversee any kind of repair work needed. Buying a new tractor can be heavy on the pockets, in such cases, the alternative is buying a second-hand tractor which comes at a much lower cost and is a better option as well. The second-hand tractors may range between Rs 2 to 3 lakhs.
