New Delhi: ISI-run operation to carry out propaganda on Kashmir through separatist Ghulam Nabi Fai will be discussed at next week's India-Pakistan talks after which both sides will announce a series of Confidence Building

Measures on cross-LoC trade and travel.

Maintaining that there was "better communication" and "temperatures were low" after the resumption of talks between India and Pakistan, government sources on Saturday noted that both sides have been able to "sustain" a series of meeting on various bilateral issues which have gone "reasonably well."

On whether the trust deficit was bridged as mandated by the Prime Ministers of the two countries last year in Thimphu, the sources said, "It is a good beginning."

During the talks between External Affairs Minister S M Krishna and his Pakistani counterpart Hina Rabbani Khar on July 27, the Indian side will emphasise that Pakistan needs to take action on 26/11 cases because terror-free atmosphere is very important for the talks to be more meaningful and productive.

On reports that Khar was planning to meet Hurriyat representatives during her visit here, the sources said "it is a bad idea" but New Delhi hoped that she will tell them to speak the language of peace.

Terming Pakistan officials as "care-givers" to the separatists, the sources said the separatist movement in Kashmir was being sustained with support from across the border and there was link between Pakistani authorities and militancy in the valley.

Asserting that India had since long been flagging the activities of Fai to the US, sources said "we will talk about the issue (with Pakistan)."
