Experts to visit quake-hit areas on November 27

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An expert team comprising scientists of Centre for Earth Science Studies (CESS) and State Disaster Management Authority has reached Idukki to study the impact of the recent tremors in the region, including that on Mullaperiyar dam.The team will visit the tremor-hit areas on Sunday and would file a report on an immediate basis to the State Government.Water Resources Minister P J Joseph and Revenue Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan would submit the expert panel report and the presentation prepared by the CESS team, to the Centre.
