THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Centre for Earth Studies (CESS) will organise an essay competition for 10th, 11th and 12th standard students to promote green technology ideas among the young generation on November 6 at Kozhikode, Ernakulam and Thiruvananthapuram centres. The topic of the essay will be announced only 15 minutes prior to the competition. The topic will be related to renewable energy resources, green concepts, global warming and climate change. The application for registration must reach the Chairman, Campus Green Committee, Centre for Earth Science Studies, Akkulam, Thiruvananthapuram- 695031 on or before October 10.
