Dhanlaxmi Gets New MD

KOCHI: P G Jayakumar has been instated as the Managing Director and Chief Executive of Dhanlaxmi Bank. Jayakumar was elected after the board of directors approved the resignation of Managing Director Amitabh Chaturvedi in a meeting held in Mumbai on Monday.Jayakumar, a native of Valuvalla near Paravoor in Ernakulam district, was the executive director of the bank. He started his career as a clerk in 1976.Meanwhile, the bank denied any controversy behind Chaturvedi’s resignation.
