BANGALORE:  A depressed 26-year-old man committed suicide by hanging at his residence in Kempe Gowda Layout in Rajagopalanagar police station limits on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Keshav.
According to the police, Keshav returned home late on Saturday and locked himself in the room. Allegedly, Chandrashekar, his room mate, repeatedly knocked the door for which, there was no response. Later, Chandrashekhar broke open the door and found Keshav hanging from the ceiling. It is suspected that Keshav might have committed suicide as he was depressed.

Woman found dead at residence.In the outskirts of the city, Rukmini (25), a resident of Kallappanahalli, was found dead under mysterious circumstances under Nandagudi police station limits.

The police said Rukmini's parents have alleged that she was murdered by her husband and inlaws and have registered a case against them.

Four girls, suspected to be victims of human trafficking, were rescued by city railway police on Sunday. The police have also taken one Deepak, who had brought the girls from Delhi, to custody for further investigation.

According to the police, Deepak had brought those girls from New Delhi to city on Sunday morning. An NGO had tipped off the police and the police detained them upon their arrival. On questioning, it was learnt that Deepak had brought the girls by promising them jobs as maids, the police said.
