Delhi government gives Rs 5 crore for Himachal victims
Flash floods have wreaked havoc in the mountainous states of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Wednesday granted Rs 5 crore for flood-affected victims in Himachal Pradesh.

"The government has decided to contribute Rs 5 crore for the victims of heavy rains and floods in Himachal Pradesh," Dikshit said in Delhi. A cheque of Rs 5 crore will be sent to Himachal Pradesh government.

Flash floods have wreaked havoc in the mountainous states of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.
