BANGALORE: Challenging star Darshan seems to have become a ‘Changed star’.Talking to the media, his wife Vijayalakshmi said that the actor had reformed after spending 29 days in jails.She said his action was in a ‘fit of rage and momentary’ and now they have resolved and reconciled their differences.The couple tried to reach out to their fans and apologised for their actions.“We are extremely sorry for hurting our well wishers and fans.I cannot meet all my fans, so I am trying to communicate with them through the media,” Darshan said in a press conference.The domestic tussle between the couple had made it to the headlines when Nikita, another Kannada actress, who is allegedly said to have an affair with the actor, was handed a ban for being the ‘cause’ behind the fight.“No one consulted her before imposing the ban on Nikita,” Vijayalakshmi clarified and reasserted that the difference between her and her husband was ‘over’ and the bitter incident had made her ‘love her husband even more’.When questioned why she filed a complaint against her husband if that was the case, she blamed it on the ‘moment’ and said that it was in a fit of rage that she filed the complaint and she too has changed since then.Darshan said that the dark cloud had passed and assured his fans that the incident would not repeat again.“Its normally after death, that the value of a person is realized, but in my case I did not know the extent of love from my fans.I apologise if I have hurt the sentiments of my fans,” he said.Unwilling to comment over the incident, the actor said that he was unaware that he had a ‘bad side’.“I am enjoying my time with my family and all our differences have been put to rest,” he said and added that he would not remind himself of this incident.“All my future projects will go according to my earlier plans,” he said and shared that he would be part of road shows in all districts of the state for the promotions of his latest movie Sarathi.
