Actors Aditya Roy Kapur and Parineeti Chopra have been making headlines for the lip-smacking food yatra they had undertaken to promote their film. But is the film only about one's love for food and family? No. Instead it deals with a far more serious issue - that of dowry!
As filmmaker Habib Faisal had said in one of his interviews, the film has been inspired by a news item based on a woman who had used article 498A to con 10 men.
So how will Gulrez (Parineeti Chopra) and her father (Anupam Kher) deal with the most dreadful social evil - the custom of dowry?
