Nanu is the fourth accused arrested by CBI for his alleged involved in the scam.
New Delhi: Close Kalmadi aide Beenu Nanu, who supplied overlays, was arrested by CBI on Tuesday.
CBI arrested the head of event management companies Meroform India and GL Events Beenu Nanu in connection with Commonwealth Games overlays scam.
Nanu is the fourth accused arrested by the CBI for his alleged involved in the CWG scam.
Earlier, the CBI had arrested senior CWG officials TS Darbari, Sanjay Mohindroo and M Jayachandran. Out of the three, Darbari and Mohindroo, have already been granted bail.
The CBI had earlier told the government that Kalmadi and his aide Lalit Bhanot were trying to hinder investigations in the Commonwealth Games scam probe. The CBI wanted the duo to be removed from the CWG Organising Committee.
