The Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI) Kerala will organise the first ever state conference, ‘CREDAI Statecon 2012’ here on September 8. Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, Labour Minister Shibu Baby John and CREDAI national president Lalit Kumar Jain will be the chief guests.
The organising committee members said on Wednesday that the conference will focus on the need for responsible and sustainable development in the real estate industry.
The conference will prove to be a platform for the real estate industry people to exchange innovative ideas, listen to eminent speakers, share their experience on technology, finance and marketing aspects concerning the construction industry, they said.
N Raghuchandran Nair, secretary, CREDAI Kerala said that the ‘CREDAI Statecon 2012’ is significant as it is happening on the eve of ‘Emerging Kerala’. Around 200 developers from Kerala and architects are expected to take part in the conference.
The CREDAI representatives said that they are planning to set up a Skill Academy in the state within six months.
