Construction worker dies

BANGALORE: A labourer working at a construction site died after he fell from the scaffolding, while at work in Tavarekere Second Cross under Madivala police station limits on Saturday morning.The deceased has been identified as Raghu (18), a native of Kollegal in Chamarajanagar district.According to the police, Rajanna, a realtor, was constructing a house in Tavarekere and Raghu was working for it. The work of building scaffolding was in progress and Raghu, who was standing on a scaffolding, lost his balance and fell on the ground and sustained severe head injuries. He was rushed to NIMHANS, where he succumbed to his injuries in the evening.
