THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will deliver a speech at the Indian Economic Forum that will held in Mumbai on Monday. He will speak on the topic ‘The role of the state governments in economic growth of the country.’ The conference will also be attended by chief ministers of other states including Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chauhan and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kirankumar Reddy as well as foreign dignitaries like British Columbia premier Christi Clark. The forum will discuss Central-state relations, issues affecting the implementation of various projects and role of a CM in the growth of the state among others. About 450 Indian companies and 250 foreign investors will be participating in the forum. The team led by CM Oommen Chandy would present the changed scenario in the state.
