CM for Delhi today to greet Sonia on birthday

HYDERABAD: Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy will leave for Delhi on Friday

morning to meet party president Sonia Gandhi and greet her on her 66th

birthday.It is not clear whether he will discuss with her the

issue of disqualification of rebel MLAs who supported the recent

noconfidence motion against his government. "Depending on the situation,

the chief minister might raise the issue," sources in the CMO said.As

matters stood late in the night, he has only the appointment with Sonia

Gandhi fixed. It is not clear if he will meet AICC general secretary

Ghulam Nabi Azad. If he does, he may explain to him the pros and cons of

disqualifying the rebel MLAs and leave the decision to the party high

command.
